Terms of service

These terms explain how buying from D'light works. By placing an order on dlightfoods.com you agree to them, so please read them before you order.

Who we are

D'light is a brand of Arsalan Foods, a food manufacturer based at L-5 D/1, Block 22, Federal B Industrial Area, Karachi, Pakistan. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Arsalan Foods (D'light), and "you" means the person using our website or placing an order.

Using our website

  • Please give us true and complete details when you order.
  • If you're under 18, please order with a parent's or guardian's permission.
  • Don't misuse the website, for example by trying to break into it, copying large parts of it, or placing fake orders.

Products and prices

  • Prices are in Pakistani Rupees (PKR). The delivery charge is added at checkout.
  • Photos show what our products look like, but packaging and appearance can vary slightly.
  • We can change prices or products at any time. The price you pay is the one shown when you place your order.
  • If we've made an obvious pricing mistake, we'll contact you before processing the order. You can pay the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

Placing an order

  • When you place an order, you're offering to buy the products.
  • Your order is accepted once we've confirmed your payment.
  • We may decline an order, for example if a product is out of stock, the address is outside our delivery area, or the details look incorrect. If we decline an order you've paid for, we refund you in full.

Payment

  • We currently accept bank transfer only. Our bank details are shown at checkout and in your order confirmation.
  • We start preparing your order once your payment is confirmed.
  • Cash on delivery and card payments are not available at the moment.

Delivery

We deliver across Pakistan, usually within 1 to 2 business days of your payment being confirmed, or 2 to 3 hours with instant delivery in Karachi. Charges, times and what happens if you're not home are in our Shipping & Returns policy.

Delivery times are our best estimate. Weather, traffic or other things outside our control can cause delays, and we'll keep you updated.

Cancellations, returns and refunds

You can cancel within 3 hours of ordering. If something is wrong with your order, tell us within 24 hours of delivery and we'll replace or refund it. Full details are in our Shipping & Returns policy.

These terms don't take away any rights you have under Pakistani consumer protection law.

Food safety and allergies

  • Our products are made in our own factory in Karachi and are certified by the Pakistan Standards and Quality Control Authority (PSQCA).
  • Ingredients are listed on every product page and pack. Please check them before ordering if you or anyone eating our products has a food allergy.
  • Store products as shown on the pack and eat them before the best-before date.
  • We're not responsible for problems caused by storing products the wrong way or eating them after the best-before date.

Our content

Everything on this website, including the D'light name and logo, product photos, text and design, belongs to Arsalan Foods. You're welcome to view and share it for personal use, but please don't copy it or use it for business without our written permission.

If you send us a review or photo, you allow us to show it on our website and social media.

Our responsibility to you

  • If a product we sell you is faulty, we'll replace it or refund what you paid for it.
  • We're not responsible for losses we couldn't reasonably have expected, or for delays caused by events outside our control, such as floods, strikes or road closures.
  • Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility where the law doesn't allow it to be limited.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you place your order is the one that applies to that order.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. If you have a problem, please contact us first and we'll try to sort it out quickly. If we can't, the courts of Karachi will decide.
